Structured Day Care

Busy day at work? House renovations? Family event? We've got you covered!

We provide Day Care for those days when life is busy and your pup needs extra attention.

Drop off times are between 7:00am-8.30am. Pick up times from 3.30-5.30pm.

Half Days are available.

Canine Field of Dreams' structured day care runs all week, including weekends, and it's perfect for when you are at work or when you need to get your dog out of the house. Our day care clients often combine daycare with our Friendship Camp.

Structured Environment

We are all about quality, no quantity! We limit to 15 pups to provide individualized care. Dogs who are overstimulated in busy daycares with small confined spaces come home exhausted, irritated and unfulfilled. We are different than traditional facilities as we prioritize your dog’s experience, helping dogs feel comfortable and relaxed. Your dog will never be just a number to us. Our clients love our quiet and safe environment for their pups while they are away. At Canine Field of Dream, our structured day care exercises both dog's mind and body.

Focus on Nature

With 10 acres of fields and trails your pup will have fun time getting out and exploring in nature. Canine Field of Dreams offers the most exciting experience for your dog in nature. Your dog will have plenty of access to our play yards. Play groups are available when there is another dog of similar size and temperament and both pawrents agree on groups.

Our play yards are a naturally designed with trees, grasses and shrubs in mind to giving dogs plenty of fun landscape to explore. Our artificial turf yards allows us to keep the yards sanitized as well as avoid mud in damp conditions. If the weather is inclement, dogs enjoy our covered Four Season's play room which is ideal for rainy or cold day playtime.

Your dog will be able to share the play yards and hiking fields with other dogs of similar size and temperament (when available).

Our requirements 

  • Dogs must pass a trial day

  • Dogs must be kennel trained (calm and relaxed, no excessive barking or anxious)

  • Dogs must be up to date with their vaccines (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Bordetella)

  • Dogs must be dog friendly - non reactive

  • We do not allow any human aggressive dog

  • Dogs that have not attended camp for 6 months or longer must be re-evaluated and pass trial to be accepted. Puppies up to 18 months old will be re-evaluated after 3 months.

  • We highly recommend monthly preventative for heartworm, flea and tick since we will be in nature.

7:00 - 8:30 am:  Drop Offs

8:00 am-noon: Morning Activities

  • One on one play with a camp counselor, snuggles, small play group if there is a good match with other guest pup and desired by both pawrents. 

  • Adventure hike if requested

  • Train While You Stay if requested

 

Noon-2:30pm: Nap time and lunch if requested 

 

2:30 - 4:30pm: Afternoon activities

  • One on one play with a camp counselor, snuggles, small play group if there is a good match with other guest pup and desired by both pawrents. 

  •  Pick Ups from 3:30 to 5:30

Prices are subject to change

  • $49.50 per day, $44.50 each additional dog, regular pick up.

  • Cancelations shorter than 48 hours notice will be charged one day.

  • Early pick up (before 3 pm) will still be charged for entire day.

  • Late pick up will be charged additional day charge: After 5:30pm ($49.50 for 1 dog, $44.50 each additional dog)

  • Reservation for Half Day available - $30 Half Day (4 hours), $25 second dog

  • Late pick up $10

Add-Ons

  • Adventure hikes  $10: A 30 min long line hike around 10 acres of nature to sniff, roam and explore. Hiking can help with anxiety, confidence building, physical health, and behavior. Good leash manners is a must to be able to book an adventure hike.

  • Learning at camp $30 : 30 mins training sessions to work on basic commands, leash skills, recall, etc. These are for basic behaviors only.

  • Find the Bunny - Intro to scent work $20: this is a fun introduction to scent work; we will teach your dog how to find a scent. Scent work allows your dog to use their strongest natural sense in a fun and engaging way.
