TRUE PET LOVERS

Our Camp Counselors are serious and passionate about the care of your pup. We value and invest in the training of our Camp Counselors with the most up to date techniques; focusing on safety and fun for your pup.

In addition to being Canine CPR certified, each of our Camp Counselors are trained in canine group management and customer service. Our first-class team prides themselves in creating and maintaining a safe, healthy and happy environment for each dog that visits Canine Field of Dreams.

Lily
Owner/Founder

Lily has been an animal lover and advocate her entire life. She was born and raised in Colombia where she graduated from Veterinary school in 2003, knowing she had calling for animal care. She worked for Novartis pharmaceutical veterinary products for 5 years and moved to Omaha in 2008 . Lily received a degree in nursing in 2012 and has worked in the field as a RN. She is also certified as a dog trainer in communicative leash work process.  After 10+ years (and going strong) of active volunteering in animal rescue, Lily found herself gravitating out of the traditional workforce and towards a full-time career with animals. Lily's extensive knowledge and passion for dogs has made Canine Dreams the success that it is.  Lily lives on Canine Field of Dreams' property with her husband, her dogs Ziggy and Oscar (both rescues), her cats Socks and Mittens and of course all her chickens.

Andrea
Operations Manager

Dre joined the team in 2023, after working for 5 years at a local animal shelter. She has been a lifelong lover of animals. After spending 13+ years in the corporate world doing sales and business development, Dre found her calling with dogs while volunteering with a local rescue Pug Partners of Nebraska. She's been working with animals since. She has an MBA from Bellevue University and applies her business experience to the canine industry.  Dre is a self-professed bookworm, loves coffee and enjoys spending time with family. She has two rescue pugs. Dre is a fan of and expert in the care of brachycephalic breeds. She volunteers as webmaster for Good Life Bull Dog Rescue.

Abbie
Team Lead

Abbie is extremely intuitive with dogs. Her calm confidence helps the dogs at Camp thrive. Abbie is on track for a long, successful career in the canine industry and loves all animals - she has a cat, two birds, and a chameleon in her pack.​ Abbie excels at trick training. She enjoys watching YouTube to find new, inventive tricks to teach her dogs - a German Shepherd named Luna and a Boxer/Bull dog mix named Bosely. Her dog Luna enjoys visiting Canine Field of Dreams.​ In her spare time, Abbie enjoys indoor plants, antique/vintage thrifting, buying crazy socks, and recently she has gotten into puzzles!

Izzy
Team Lead

Izzy is knowledgeable and passionate about animals of all kinds. Izzy grew up around livestock and immersed in all aspects of animals in 4H. She has volunteered regularly during Hookstock at the Zoo.  During the floods of 2019, Izzy assisted in the medical care of the largest herd of rare San Clemente goats. She is a calm and compassionate counselor for the dogs in our care. She excels with supervising our dog playgroups. Izzy has quite the menagerie at home: her dog Tuna, her pig Coco, her bunny Peter and her horse Rocco. She is quite skillful with horses - she has been riding horses for 20 years and it's still her favorite past-time. She successfully competes in Horse Shows and Jumpers. Izzy has begun college courses and has an interest in furthering her education. Izzy also enjoys painting and drawing. Invite her to your next dinner party, she is a talented cook!

Landen
Team Lead

Landen is a natural with the dogs at Camp. Landen grew up enjoying caring for animals: reptiles, amphibians, birds and rodents. At the age of 14, Landen began training his golden retriever to hunt, which led to his passion for training dogs. Landen enjoys learning about dog behaviors and body language. He can't imagine not being surrounded by dogs daily which is happily appreciated by his two dogs Malcom, a Pyrenees/Staffie mix and Eila, a Border Collie He participates in dog sport as an IGP helper for a local club and enjoys the opportunity to work with and train high drive working dogs. In his free time, Landen can be found hiking, biking and camping.

Katherine
Camp Counselor

Katherine is attentive and comforting with our dogs and they love her, especially the shy onesWith four dogs of her own and a lifetime of experience with various animals - including guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs - caring for pets has always been Katherine's passion. Katherine has been pet sitting for over 10 years and takes pride in providing the same love and care to other pets as she does her own. In her free time, she enjoys thrifting, especially anything from the 70's, being outdoors and of course spending time with her dogs.

Mari
Camp Counselor

Mari joins our team with experience in dog walking, pet sitting and some dog training. Her genuine care for animals and down-to-earth attitude make her a great addition to our team. She enjoys making sure each pup in her care feels comfortable and safe. Mari believes in a balanced approach to life; she practices yoga and meditation to keep a calm, positive vibe which carries over to her work at Canine Field of Dreams. Mari enjoys nature, hiking and of course great weather! Outside of work, Mari enjoys painting, tackling home DIY projects, exploring new languages, and capturing everyday moments with her camera. Mari is also fluent in Spanish! Mari aspires to learn more about Dog Training and continuing her career working with dogs.

Treyson
Camp Counselor

Treyson is passionate about working outdoors with sporting and working breed dogs. He excels at keeping our Camp Dogs active and challenged. He grew up with Labs and a Golden Retriever; and hunted pheasant with his trained Lab from the age of 12. Treyson has two family dogs Moose the Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Freddy the Corgi who keep him busy with their silly antics. Treyson is involved with a local IGP dog sport club doing assistant work. He has a goal to one day own a protection sport dog of his own. Treyson aims to learn more about dog training and becoming a protection sport dog trainer in the future. He enjoys the relationship building side of dog training the most. In his free time, Treyson enjoys mountain biking, camping, fishing, guitar and cars.

Taylor
Camp Counselor

Taylor has always known she wanted a career in the canine industry. She is proud parent of two rescue mastiffs, Mazikeen and Havok, as well as 3 cats. Taylor feels a special connection to large-breed dogs as they are often misunderstood and overlooked in the adoption process. For over three years, Taylor has been working with giant dog breeds, including the specialized behavior modification of her diamond dog rescue Mazikeen. In her free time, Taylor volunteers at local shelters and online groups advocating for the adoption of larger breeds and educating potential owners about the joys and responsibilities of living with gentle giants. She is also currently attending college to become a certified pet groomer, pet nutritionist, and pet massage therapist.

Ziggy, Oscar,
         Socks and Mittens
Executive Management

Our executive management team is comprised of Mittens and Socks, the cats and Ziggy and Oscar, the dogs. Mittens and Socks supervise the Maintenance Man while still making time to silently judge everyone. The two busy cats can be found chasing innocent woodland creatures or hiding in the trees and grasses making sure everyone is abiding by cat rules.
ZIggy was adopted to the clan in September 2024 and has gleefully embraced her new role as toy tester, sky raisin control and loyal friend to boarding/camp dogs. Ziggy enjoys joining playgroups and is determined to be the bestest good example for the other dogs at Camp. Oscar was recently adopted and learning the ropes. Oscar is very fashionable and can be seen modeling his newest outfits with his friends, the small sized Campers.
