Lily
Owner/Founder

From an early age, Lily knew her heart belonged to animals. Born and raised in Colombia, she graduated from veterinary school in 2003 and spent several years working in the field, including five years with Novartis Veterinary Pharmaceuticals. After moving to Omaha in 2008, she earned her nursing degree and became a registered nurse—caring for people while never losing her passion for animals.

Her dedication to rescue work and over a decade of volunteering inspired Lily to follow her true calling: creating a place where dogs could thrive in a safe, loving, and natural environment. Certified in communicative leash work and drawing from her veterinary and nursing background, Lily blends science, compassion, and hands-on experience into everything she does at Canine Field of Dreams.

Today, she lives on the property with her husband, their rescue dogs Ziggy and Oscar, two cats (Crocs and Mittens), and a lively flock of chickens. To Lily, every camper is family—and her dream is to make sure each one feels right at home.

Izzy
Senior Camp Lead

Izzy is knowledgeable and deeply passionate about animals of all kinds. She grew up surrounded by livestock and immersed herself in every aspect of animal care through 4H. Over the years, she has also volunteered regularly during Hookstock at the Zoo.

During the 2019 floods, Izzy played an important role in assisting with the medical care of the largest herd of rare San Clemente goats. Her calm and compassionate nature makes her an excellent counselor for the dogs in our care, and she truly excels at supervising our playgroups.

At home, Izzy has quite the menagerie — her dog Tuna, her pig Coco, her bunny Peter, and her horse Rocco. A skilled equestrian, she has been riding horses for over 20 years and continues to compete successfully in Horse Shows and Jumpers.

Outside of animal care, she enjoys painting and drawing — and if you ever get the chance, invite her to your next dinner party! She’s also a talented cook.

Abbie
Camp Lead

Abbie is incredibly intuitive with dogs, and her calm confidence helps every camper feel safe and thrive. She’s on track for a long, successful career in the canine industry and has a deep love for all animals — including her cat, two birds, and chameleon at home!

Abbie especially shines in trick training. She loves discovering new and creative ideas on YouTube to teach her dogs — Luna, her German Shepherd, and Bosely, her Boxer/Bulldog mix. Luna is a regular visitor here at Canine Field of Dreams, and the two of them make quite the team!

Outside of work, Abbie enjoys tending to her indoor plants, hunting for treasures while thrifting for vintage finds, collecting fun socks, and — most recently — diving into puzzles!

Landen
Camp Lead

Landen is a natural with the dogs at Camp. His love for animals began early, caring for everything from reptiles and amphibians to birds and rodents. At just 14, Landen started training his golden retriever to hunt — an experience that sparked his lifelong passion for dog training.

He enjoys learning about canine behavior and body language and can’t imagine a day without being surrounded by dogs — something his two pups, Malcom (a Pyrenees/Staffie mix) and Eila (a Border Collie), fully support!

Landen also participates in dog sports as an IGP helper for a local club, where he gets to work with and train high-drive working dogs — an experience he finds both rewarding and exciting.

When he’s not with the dogs, you can find Landen exploring the outdoors — hiking, biking, or camping whenever he gets the chance.

Katherine
Camp Counselor

Katherine is caring, attentive, and has a special way of making even the shyest campers feel comfortable and loved.

She’s been pet sitting for over 10 years and has a lifetime of experience with all kinds of animals — from guinea pigs and rabbits to cats and dogs.

At home, Katherine has two dogs and a cat who keep her busy and entertained. Caring for animals has always been her passion, and she treats every camper with the same love and attention she gives her own pets. When she’s not at Camp, you can find her thrifting for vintage 70’s treasures, spending time outdoors, or relaxing with her fur babies.

Treyson
Camp Counselor

Treyson is passionate about working outdoors with sporting and working breed dogs. He excels at keeping our Camp Dogs active, engaged, and challenged in all the best ways!

He grew up with Labs and a Golden Retriever and began hunting pheasant with his trained Lab at just 12 years old. These early experiences sparked his love for training and working with dogs.

At home, Treyson has two family dogs — Moose, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and Freddy, a Corgi — who keep him entertained with their endless energy and silly antics. He’s also involved with a local IGP dog sport club, where he assists in training high-drive working dogs. His long-term goal is to own and train a protection sport dog of his own.

Treyson loves the relationship-building side of dog training most of all. When he’s not with the dogs, you can find him mountain biking, camping, fishing, playing guitar, or tinkering with cars!

Paige
Camp Counselor

Paige has always believed that life is better with animals by your side. Her loyal companion, Rocky, is not only her hiking and training partner but also her constant source of inspiration when it comes to caring for dogs. The two of them love exploring new trails, finding hidden spots for adventure, and creating the kind of bond that only comes from time spent outdoors.

At home, Paige’s love for animals extends beyond dogs—she also tends to a cheerful flock of chickens, which adds a little extra joy and personality to her days. Whether it’s on the trail with Rocky or in the yard with her chickens, Paige brings patience, dedication, and genuine care to every interaction. At Canine Field of Dreams, Paige channels that same spirit into the way she connects with every dog who comes through our doors. She knows that dogs thrive when they have the freedom to explore, the encouragement to learn, and the love of a trusted friend. With Paige, your pup is not only safe and cared for—they’re living out their very own field of dreams.

Ziggy, Oscar, Socks and Mittens
Executive Management

Our executive management team is comprised of Mittens and Socks, the cats and Ziggy and Oscar, the dogs. Mittens and Socks supervise the Maintenance Man while still making time to silently judge everyone. The two busy cats can be found chasing innocent woodland creatures or hiding in the trees and grasses making sure everyone is abiding by cat rules.
ZIggy was adopted to the clan in September 2024 and has gleefully embraced her new role as toy tester, sky raisin control and loyal friend to boarding/camp dogs. Ziggy enjoys joining playgroups and is determined to be the bestest good example for the other dogs at Camp. Oscar was recently adopted and learning the ropes. Oscar is very fashionable and can be seen modeling his newest outfits with his friends, the small sized Campers.

Brent

Head of Poop Patrol & Nature Operations

(a.k.a. Co-Founder & Maintenance Guy)

Every camp needs a hero behind the scenes — and ours just happens to answer to “Maintenance Guy.” From scooping poop like a pro to keeping fences sturdy and trails safe, he makes sure camp runs smoother than a well-trained pup.

Quiet by nature but always dependable, Brent is most often found fixing, building, or tidying up. When he takes a break, you’ll catch him hanging out with his beloved chickens, buzzing around with his bees, or out on the trails hiking alongside the Executive Management Team.

Equal parts handyman, animal whisperer, and dog-loving co-founder, he’s the ultimate camp caretaker.
